Reservations

Before a sessions can be started, a specific amount gets reserved on the customers card. This amount is set by the max-price of the tariff in questions. However, it’s important for the user that in case the session doesn’t start, this reservation is cancelled as soon as possible.

CCV will actively cancel the reservation if:

  • Our StartSessionCommand resulted in a “REJECTED” CommandResult by the CPMS. In this case, the reservation will get cancelled automatically in the next 48 hours. The
  • The SessionStatus has been set to “INVALID”. In this case, the reservation will be cancelled immediately.
  • We receive a CDR for a session where the total amount is 0. This would cancel the session and return a receipt of 0.
  • In case the result of the StartSessionCommand is Uncertain (an explicit ACCEPTED or REJECTED was never received), we will wait for 48hrs for a Session or CDR that is related to that StartSession command, in case no CDR/Session has been received after 48hrs, the related reservation will also be cancelled automatically.
