Objective

Proper error handling when trying to perform an installation when the CCV SoftPOS app is not installed on the Android device.

Preparation

• POS app is installed

Execution

1. POS app starts installation process
   • POS makes an API Request to CCV Payment API to retrieve an installationPayload
   • See Installation Request
2. POS app shows clear Error message
3. Install CCV SoftPOS app (Demo Build)
4. Reopen POS app
5. Perform Installation

Expected result

• Step 2: Clear indication that the CCV SoftPOS app is not installed
  • Message based on Error “SOFTPOS_NOT_INSTALLED”
  • See Error Codes
• Step 5: POS App can trigger a new Installation
  • See Installation

Recommended

• Step 3: Action to go to the Google Play Store (Live)

PS: the Google Play Store only has a production version of the CCV SoftPOS app. This will not work during the validation session.
You need to install the Demo SoftPOS app (received from CCV) during this test.
